22 -24 October 2007, Savoy Place, London, UK
Safety cannot be separated into hardware, software or human components. Safety is a system property which must be designed into each product and managed during system development and also later in-service. The 2nd International Conference on System Safety 2007 follows on from the success of the inaugural conference last year and is again firmly focused on the achievement and assurance of system safety and includes system hardware, software and human elements.
System Safety aims to address concerns specific to particular industry sectors but will also focus on cross sector issues such as the use of Safety Integrity Levels (SILs), the role and responsibility of Independent Safety Auditors (ISAs), changes in legislative and certification regimes, and human factors.
